Marry Me Now Ties The Knot With China

Armoza Formats’
new factual entertainment show, Marry Me Now, has now been acquired in China by leading production company Legend Media. The two parties have previously partnered on The Green Project, the sketch comedy show that aired on Hunan TV and became the channel’s number one show in the time slot.

Marry Me Now has already been taken in eight countries to date. The stirring factual format was most recently acquired in South Africa and Belgium, with other key territories including France, Italy and Germany.

The emotional docu-reality that you’ll fall in love with, Marry Me Now (60’) gives women the chance to take charge of their own fate. Each week we follow one determined woman, who has had enough of waiting for a ring. She will take the lead in her life and relationship, and prepare her own wedding in just a few days and all without the groom-to-be’s knowledge. On the 3rd day she will surprise her partner in her wedding dress with an ambush proposal. If he says no, it’s all over… but if he says yes, they will tie the knot on the spot!

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, “The strength of ‘Marry Me Now’ lies in its inherent appeal to audiences, who are looking for more authentic and fresh takes on relationship shows. We have strongly believed in the idea from the first moment that it was pitched at our Formagination competition, and are thrilled to see its international growth, as well as to be working once again with Legend Media.”
