Avi Armoza - Founder & CEO

Avi is one of Israel's leading film and television producers, with extensive experience in the field of executive management and corporate development.

In 2005, he founded Armoza Formats, and has led it to become a key player in the international formats market, spearheading the emergence of innovative and compelling content with a cross-platform perspective.

Prior to founding Armoza Formats, Avi Armoza was the VP of Content and Business Development at the Jerusalem Capital Studios (JCS), Israel leading Media Company, where he had overall management responsibility for the company's productions and content creation activity. In that position Avi was also responsible for the JCS corporate business development activity in Israel and abroad, and initiated the establishing of Chooz, Israel's first original mobile content creator.

Avi has been working in television and film business for more than 18 years as a producer and a senior executive. He began his tenure at JCS in 1993 when he founded JCS Production that has grown to be Israel largest independent production house, specializing in high genre productions (Feature films, drama and sitcom),entertainment programs and documentaries.
He is credited for over ten feature films and made-for-TV, including "Colombian Love" (2004), which has recently been acquired for a Hollywood remake and "Paper Snow" (2003, Israeli Academy Award). He is also credited for numerous dramas and TV-series including "War Room" (2005, Israel most prestigious TV drama).

Mihal Brezis - VP of International

Mihal grew up in Jerusalem, Boston and Paris.
She has a BA in economics from the Hebrew University, and has graduated with honors from the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School.

Her short film "Sabbath Entertainment" has won numerous awards in festivals worldwide and has been released in Israel theatrically.
Sabbath Entertainment" has been chosen as one of top two films of the Sam Spiegel School by an international jury comprising of eminent figures such as Pedro Almodovar, Wim Wenders, Paul Newman, Michael Douglas, Jeanne Morreau among many others.
Her second short "Tuesday's Women" has premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the selected "Tiger Cub Competition" category and has screened in over 30 international festivals.
Her recent film "Lost Paradise" has received over 20 international prizes.

Amos Neumann - COO

Amos is a media and TV Programming executive, and was formerly VP Programming at Israel's Reshet Channel 2. Amos has worked in the TV and media business for 20 years, holding key positions in several TV companies, as Programming Director at Channel 10, Chief Producer at "Tevel International Communications", Israel's largest cable company, and more. Amos brings in vast experience in TV programming and scheduling, content development and all aspects of TV management. His TV philosophy is "Show me the twist": create the next format that delivers something new, clever and unique, that has never been seen before.

Amos lives in Tel Aviv, has a BA in Political Science from Tel Aviv University, is a proud father of three, and rides mountain bikes whenever he can.

Anat Lewinsky - Sales Executive - European & CIS territories

With a wide range of experience and education, Anat joined Armoza Formats in early 2008 after finishing her M.A. in Communication Research and years of experience in the TV business working at HOT, the Israeli Cable Television Platform, as the Manager of the Foreign Channels Department.

Anat calls India her second home, and it is always close to her heart. She enjoys spending her free time dancing, practicing Yoga and meditation. Some time ago, she even did a cool urban knitting project, check it out here: www.savtaconnection.com.

Ana Paula Szewkies – Sales Manager
Spain,Portugal,Italy & Latin America and Asia

Ana was born in Brazil and moved to Israel in 2008. She graduated from Tel Aviv University with a B.A. degree in Cinema and Television.
Ana has a wealth of international experience in television and film production behind her and has acquired great experience in the field prior to joining Armoza. She has worked in Poland, Brazil, France and Germany- where she lived for four years.

Ana speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish and Hebrew and has joined Armoza Formats as a Sales Executive specializing in the Latin American, Spanish and Italian Markets. .

Ronit Shuler - Products Manager

Ronit is a television media professional, with national and international experience in production, content editing, research, casting, and program development.

Prior to joining Armoza Formats, Ronit worked with Israel's leading production companies and broadcasters including Keshet, Reshet, Gil Productions, Abot Reif Hameiri, Matar Productions, Channel 10 and others.

Ronit also worked in the programming department at NBC 10 and at WMMR Radio station in Philadelphia, USA.

She is also a performer, and has performed as a singer/dancer/actress in various TV shows, films, and stage productions.

Ronit graduated with honors from Temple University in Philadelphia, USA with a B.A. in Broadcasting Telecommunications and Performance, and studied Musical Theater at Circle in The Square Theater School in New York.

Sharon Levi - Sales Manager for
English speaking and Nordic territories

Native New Yorker Sharon Levi has joined Armoza in 2013 from the entertainment business. She was head of the international dept. at Israel’s leading music company, mainly representing and marketing music domestically and internationally, working with artists such as Whitney Houston, Santana and REM, she’s traveled the world to listen to great tunes and bring them back to Israel.

For the past 4 years she’s been working as a talent agent representing actors, creators, directors and content editors which drove her closer to the fascinating world of television. Her favorite TV show is Breaking Bad (“a true television masterpiece”). Her favorite music artist is Prince.

Sharon is first and foremost a mother of 3 young children.

Daniel Ravner - Head of Digital

Daniel oversees all creative and business development of Armoza's digital operations, including the development of new cross media projects and products using Israeli talent and technology. ?

Daniel graduated with honors from his Film and Theater studies in New York City and is now pursuing a Masters degree in business strategy. 

Daniel career is marked by a truly broad experience in various storytelling platforms, ranging from theater, through television to the online worlds.  

In March 2012 Daniel was elected by leading business magazine Globes as one of the “40 most promising people under 40 in the Israeli business world”

In his former position as head of content at THE BOX he developed both TV formats for the Israeli and International markets as well as branded content for clients in the likes of P&G and 3M. Daniel also facilitated the company’s business development in the global television industry.

Daniel is also a founding member and the creative director of Screenz - A cross media company offering digital solutions for TV entities such as Fox International Channels and ProSeiben’s Red Arrow.

In 2010 Daniel won the prestigious fellowship for the Entertainment Master Class – a selective executive education programme taking place in various locations worldwide.

Elwin Vizetelly de Groot - Senior Development Executive

Elwin is a senior creative in Armoza's Development Department  – developing new formats in-house and with 3rd parties.

Born in Amsterdam, and raised in the UK, Elwin moved back to The Netherlands after gaining an Honours in Performing Arts. In Amsterdam he completed a Masters at the renowned creative and advertising school, The Hallo Academy. After work experience at Kesselskramer ad agency, he worked as a copy creative for the design brand Raffi and then for advertising agency Artmiks directly alongside Creative Director Marco de Boer on a number of campaigns and projects.  In 2005 Elwin moved to Endemol International's creative team alongside "Deal or No Deal" creator Dick de Rijk.  In 2007 he joined the marketing team and managed both the international sales website as well as produced many of the company's international promos and marketing campaigns. In 2010 Elwin joined John de Mol's creative team at Talpa Media where he developed and worked on many of its new formats.  In 2012 broadcaster NET5 aired his fashion competition format "Beat the Top Designer".

In addition to his passion to create hit television formats, Elwin is an experienced freelance photographer having shot for numerous publications and shot stills for many of the world's top television formats.

Sigal Yaacobi – CFO 

Sigal is an economist with a with a B.A. in Economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

She has more than ten years of experience working in the TV industry, with stints at both the nation's top broadcasters and production companies. Prior to her joining Armoza Formats, Sigal served as the CFO of a major TV production company in Israel. She is currently the CFO at Armoza Formats.

Ilana Gindis – Products Coordinator

Ilana was born in NYC and moved to Israel at a young age. She majored in Television during her B.A. degree in Communications at the Inter-Disciplinary College (IDC) in Herzliya, from which she graduated with honors. Prior to joining the Armoza team, Ilana worked with different Israeli broadcasters such as Channel 10 and HOT- the Israeli Cable Television Platform.

Ilana joined Armoza Formats in 2012 as the Sales and Products Assistant.

Shira Ziv – Office Manager

After graduating from Tel-Aviv University’s Film and Television Department, Shira worked as a Producer at one of Israel's largest advertising agencies, followed by a career in independent film production.

Shira worked on film and TV sets as a Second Assistant Director before joining one of Israel's leading TV and documentary production companies as Office Manager in 2007.

Shira joined Armoza Formats in 2012 as Office Manager, bringing her production and on-set experience to the position. She is responsible for coordinating the operational management of both Armoza Formats' distribution and development arms.
