Still Standing Gains Traction in Asia

NBCUniversal International Formats today announces licenses for Armoza Formats’ hit game show, Still Standing in Vietnam and Mongolia. The local versions will launch in July, airing on HTV7 in Vietnam and TV9 in Mongolia.

Created by July-August Productions, Still Standing sees ten contestants battle it out to win $1 million. As the clock ticks, contestants participate in a series of fast-paced trivia battles to avoid being “literally” dropped from the game, through the studio floor.

To date, over 2,500 episodes of Still Standing have transmitted globally. The Thai adaptation, which airs on leading network, Channel 7 became the territory’s number one game show in December and has since been commissioned for a third season of 100 episodes.

NBCUniversal International Formats manages all format sales for Armoza Formats in Asia.

Yvonne Pilkington, SVP Formats and Production NBCUniversal, “Still Standing boasts the perfect mix of trivia and tension as contestants battle it out to avoid plummeting through a studio floor. It’s great to see the show picking up momentum in Asia and we are thrilled to have played our part in making the format a huge global success.”
