In today's celebrity-obsessed culture, the media industry is constantly trying to get a fresh take on famous stars. But the celebs are so media-trained that they skillfully conceal the truly intimate details of their lives. How then do you get the biggest celebs to expose something raw and personal in front of the cameras?

In "How to Be…", a well-known journalist will delve into the very psyche of the people who fascinate us most, learning about them from a completely different angle – by becoming them. From actors to athletes, musicians to politicians, no celeb is too big a challenge or too untouchable a public figure to tackle.

He will immerse himself in their lives and their past, spending 24 hours with the celeb. He'll visit their home, learn more about their private life, and about the daily demands of their career in the spotlight. He'll then invite the celebrity to join him in his studio to unveil his research – a room dedicated to the celebrity's life. Confronted with their "public" history, they will begin to open up their private world…

The journalist will transform physically in a makeover session that places him – literally – in their shoes. He has now become the celebrity. Then – in a powerful and emotional twist – the roles will be reversed. Interviewer will become celebrity; celebrity will become interviewer. The host, acting as the celebrity, will provide a mirror for them to understand their fame from a completely new angle, realizing how their look, body language, speech and behavior are interpreted by the outside world.
