Germany And Italy Say Yes To Armozs’s Marry Me Now

Armoza Formats’ new factual entertainment format Marry Me Now has been acquired in Germany by ProSiebenSat.1 Group and in Italy by Endemol Shine. These two key European territories have become the first countries to acquire the emotional show after its NATPE launch in mid-January.

Pitched at the Armoza-run format competition Formagination by Israeli comedienne and first-time format creator, Odelia Yakir, the show was taken on to be developed and produced by Armoza Formats, partnering with Zipi Rozenblum on the production.

The new emotional and empowering docu-reality that you’ll fall in love with, Marry Me Now (60’) gives women the chance to take charge of their own fate. Each week we follow one determined woman, who has had enough of waiting for a ring. She will take the lead in her life and relationship, and prepare her own wedding in just a few days and all without the groom-to-be’s knowledge. On the 3rd day she will surprise her partner in her wedding dress with an ambush proposal! If he says no, it’s all over… but if he says yes, they will tie the knot on the spot!

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, “We are thrilled with the strong international response we have been receiving to ‘Marry Me Now’ since we launched it a couple of weeks ago. Its dramatic and empowering take on the most traditional moment of couples’ lives makes for powerful viewing, and we are looking forward to progressing the show together with our partners in these important territories.”
