Armoza Formats Reveals New Mipcom Lineup

Armoza Formats has now unveiled its new diverse slate for MIPCOM, offering content that ranges across a wide variety of genres including studio entertainment, factual, lifestyle and scripted series.

Winning the slot for Canada’s TVA and produced by Quebecor Content and Fair Play, Dance Revolution (11x90’) is the prime time dance show that welcomes all dancers to compete and be judged with a 360˚ shot of their most spectacular “Revolution” moment using state-of-the-art technology. In every stage, the three masters will have the help of the Revolution moments – capturing the dancers’ precise and timeless movements to make sure that they make the right decision. The dancers’ performances and the breath-taking Revolution moments will decide the four finalists, who will showcase their talent in the hope of winning the $100k grand prize.

Developed and produced by Armoza Formats, Singerella (60’) is the feel-good prime time factual entertainment show in which each week, one girl with unfulfilled musical dreams will get a fairytale surprise. Life has taken our talented and unsuspecting “Singerella” away from her music but now a top industry icon will give her the chance of a lifetime to sing with him in front of thousands of people. She will finally get the opportunity to experience the spotlight in the most magical way, an opportunity that could change her life forever…

The Food Ambassadors (8 x 60’) features a renowned chef as he embarks on an international journey to meet fellow culinary masters from his country. In every episode he will visit a new chef in a different city and follow in their footsteps to get a taste of what it means to share their flavors with the world. Through visits to their home and restaurant, the host will understand the price these talented chefs have paid to attain global success in a competitive and foreign food industry. Produced by Maagalot for Israel’s Kan, the format also comes with a digital companion show in which the host experiences the tastes and sites of the city.

Trend My Room (8x60’) is the cutting-edge design show that offers families the chance to get their dream, on-trend room by teaming up with three stylish bloggers. These renovation influencers will do whatever it takes to win the opportunity to bring their design to life. The family must choose two finalists, who will then reimagine a new room design in 48 hours, and present their vision using only their experience, mood boards and trend books. Which of them has what it takes to win the trendiest competition ever and turn these shabby rooms into chic living spaces? Originally aired on France’s Elle Girl and produced by Réservoir Prod, the show increased the channel’s overall ratings as well as increasing its own ratings throughout the season.

Also on Armoza’s MIP lineup are two new dramas that are both thrilling and incredibly relevant in today’s overly-connected world.

The Game (10 x 60’), produced by Amalga and currently airing on Canada’s TVA to a strong 30% share, follows young, feisty video game designer Marianne as she attempts to make a name for herself in the male-dominated gaming community. But when she publicly criticizes online “trolls” she creates a massive controversy that results in an online campaign attacking her. As the harassment moves from the online world to the real world and grows more violent each day, she must beat her unknown enemies at their own game before she loses it all.

Produced by Sharon Dotan and Meimad Studios, Instababe (15 x 1’) is the breakout short-form teen series tailor-made for the social media generation, which exposes the issues that teenagers face and the realities of their world. When a case of physical bullying causes an investigation into a group of high school students, their secrets threaten to be revealed, implicating every one of them. But all is not as it seems, as we learn that you can’t trust your own eyes in this powerful drama that will capture broadcasters’ teen audiences.  Aired on Instagram in Israel, the series reached 97.2% of teenagers who use the platform.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats“We are very proud to be bringing a lineup that reflects the current trends and needs in the market, as well as some innovative new shows that will push the industry forward.
